PHILOSOPHY JOURNAL
About
I am the wisest man alive, for I know nothing
Socrates
The word Philosophy, (philosophia) originates from two Greek terms: philo-, meaning to love, and sophos, meaning wisdom/ knowledge. Thus, Philosophy means "love knowledge".
This is exactly what my journal is intended for.
Although renowned as an intellectual subject, I personally believe Philosophy can be enjoyed and shared between the many. There is no soul too naive nor insincere to observe the mysteries of the world around them. Philosophy is an infinite playground, where one can never ever, truly, be wrong. It is our nature to join together, to theorise, just as Aristotle would have done at a wine-fuelled symposium at Plato's Academy.
My journal will explore a variety of pockets from the philosophical realm, from the beliefs of indigenous tribes to troubled Empiricists. I promise my writings will be simple and understandable, and not too complex for a guest's comprehension. As always, thank you for visiting.
