Sssh My Darling

Sssh my darling,

Please don’t cry,

Happiness is more than a state of mind.

Started from the bottom,

And now you’re still here.

Staring out across the sea,

There’s more shingles than your tears.

Sssh my love,

Please don’t weep,

Harvest from your heart the malignity.

Don’t wear make up for you,

But for the boys,

The ones that laughed at you,

Are now your devoted toys.

Sssh my angel,

Please don’t grieve,

Silence the pigs so naive,

Find what makes them animal,

And their tiny minds so inexpansible.

Stareless eyes, starless skies,

Your requiem is sung in the beehive.

Sssh my darling,

Please don't mourn.

I know that you never asked to be born.

Some have it better,

Others have it worse,

But no matter how broken is your verse,

Everytime you try to whisper goodbye,

Remember there is never a good enough reason to die.
